The first stage of a 200-acre mixed use development, which will include logistics and industrial space, has begun in County Durham.
The site, called Integra 61, will have up to 2million sq ft of employment space, which will include distribution units as well as a hotel, residential care home, restaurants, retail and residential units.
“We are also putting the scheme forward to larger national enquiries for units of up to 1m sq ft, for which there is a limited number of viable options,” said Robert Rae from commercial property company Avison Young.
“Integra 61 has the scale, planning approvals and will shortly have the infrastructure works in place to meet the requirements of large-scale industrial and logistics occupiers.”
