Mosaic Fashions, the parent company of a number of high-street fashion brands, is set to implement JDA merchandise planning software to help it more accurately supply its stores based on forecasting demand and analysing sales.
The company has worked with JDA for the past five years, but has recently extended its investment in a bid to synchronise IT solutions across all of its brands.
Mosaic will phase in the implementation by brand, beginning with its Principle, Warehouse and Shoe Studio divisions in 2008.
David Mold, head of IT development at Mosaic Fashions, said: “Being able to respond and react to current trade is imperative in a fast-moving fashion environment. JDA’s merchandise planning solutions allow our merchandising teams to capture up-to-date sales performance and quickly re-forecast to satisfy projected demand.
“Providing this visibility allows our merchandise teams the ability to maximise sales and successfully manage intake into the business.”
Other brands under the Mosaic umbrella include Oasis, Coast and Karen Millen.
