Baracoda has launched TagRunners, an RFID version of its RoadRunners scanner.
The system has been designed specifically for traceability within medical environments, outdoor asset tracking, security applications and quality control.
It has a ‘No Data Loss’ setting which means it will retain information even if the user is out of the Bluetooth connection area or the battery runs out, and will also allow the user to read RFID tags without Bluetooth connectivity and then transmit the data to the terminal.
The scanner weighs 132g and is compatible with a range of mobile terminals including PDAs, pocket PCs and mobile phones.
