Sportswear giant Nike has enlisted Menlo Worldwide Logistics to provide warehousing and distribution services for products ordered in Europe via its web site NikeStore.com.
Menlo will work alongside Nike’s distribution centre in Laakdal, Belgium and the company’s Digital Commerce team in the Netherlands to carry out order fulfilment and transport management services from its 28,000 sq ft facility in Eersel.
Under the agreement, Menlo will also provide transport capabilities for Nike’s B2C business using a variety of transport providers for home deliveries from its DC to the end customer throughout Europe.
The third party logistics company, a subsidiary of Con-way Inc. already provides distribution support services for NikeGolf throughout Europe, and has done since 2007.
