Specialist bodybuilder RVL has launched a rear door assembly for 3.5 tonners, designed to reduce their weight while increasing their payload. The Modular Triple Rear Door Concept will be particularly useful for multi-drop deliveries typical to city-based operations.
The vacuum-formed door can cut up to 175kg off the body’s overall weight, while achieving a one tonne payload.
The door is available for a range of chilled specification box bodies. The company also intends to develop the concept for frozen applications.
