Peppers Warehousing, JDF Logistics and McGregor Logistics have joined the Pall-Ex network and will service the Doncaster and Sheffield area.
Tony Mellor, commercial director of Pall-Ex, said the company recruited the three new members to handle the existing and potential volumes of freight in the region.
Peppers warehousing is a long-established transport and warehousing operator based in Worksop and will deliver to some Sheffield postcodes. While JDF Logistics from Barnsley will cover DN and WF postcodes and McGregor Logistics, which is based in Doncaster, will also cover the DN postcode area.
Elsewhere, as part of the Orange-sponsored National Business Awards, Pall-Ex has been shortlisted for the Badenoch & Clark Business of the Year prize, and the company’s founder Hilary Devey has been shortlisted for the Credit Suisse Entrepreneur of the Year award.
The results of both will be announced at the awards ceremony on 18th November.
