Emirates Skycargo won the Aircargo Award 2008 presented at the award ceremony held in Hamburg on 18 September. The award, sponsored by “Logistik inside” and Garbe World Cargo Centre, was given to the Dubai-based airline as the overall winner because of the rating it achieved in a survey of 240 German air cargo forwarders. Research group TNS Emnid analysed the performance of the 50 leading cargo airlines operating in Germany in terms of quality, customer orientation, and price-performance ratio.
