Unique Fine Foods has chosen Culina Logistics to provide a shared-user storage and distribution service for a chilled product range.
Unique was founded in 1999 and has established a market in importing a range of food products from around the world, including China, Germany, France and Italy, for UK supermarkets.
Culina will distribute Unique’s deli counter products to Waitrose stores across the UK. Orders are received by EDI from Waitrose and picked using hand held RDT scanners. Culina also provides sales order processing activities and makes deliveries to regional distribution centres around the country from its Milton Keynes facility.
Unique can track orders via an integrated IT system, with proof of delivery data available online.
