TRAC, a leading supplier of specialist engineering services, has taken a ten-year lease on the 41,266 sq ft Athena building, at Centralpoint, Eurocentral in Scotland.
With existing bases in Bellshill, Aberdeen, Chesterfield, Inverness and Dublin, the letting marks a considerable expansion for the business. TRAC is likely to employ more than 100 people on the new site.
Rab Watt, director of TRAC, said: “This is an excellent move for our company and is part of our longer term growth and development strategy. We aim to consolidate our existing Central Belt operations under one roof which will allow our teams to work more closely in continuing to provide our customers with the highest standard of service.
“The new facility is in an ideal location, situated between Glasgow and Edinburgh with excellent transport links to the rest of the UK close by and will provide our staff with a positive and comfortable working environment from which to deliver our services.”
Karen Campbell of TAL CPT Land Development, who is in charge of the Centralpoint development, said: “The Enterprise Zone status at Centralpoint allows us to offer very attractive incentives packages on state of the art new build industrial units which range from 53,434 sq ft to 122,483 sq ft.”
The Centralpoint development, which is due for completion shortly, will provide over 423,660 sq ft of industrial space across six buildings.
