UK container transport specialst Maritime Transport has added 20 MAN TGX tractor units to its 460-strong fleet. The 26.440 6×2 BLS units come with three-year full repair and maintenance contracts.
Fuel economy is the company’s priority when choosing new trucks. Fleet director Derek Daly said: “We have found MAN’s Engine Gas Recirculation ‘Add nothing’ solution to Euro 4 has provided comparable fuel efficiency with our Selective Catalytic Reduction trucks – and that’s before we’ve added the AdBlue costs, so we’re very pleased.”
