Masternaut Three X has won a contract to provide a tracking system for Currie European covering the fleet of 420 trailers and 80 owned tractor units.

Currie European is based in Dumfries and specialises in transport, logistics and warehousing. As well as providing operational efficiencies for the company, Masternaut will provide comprehensive asset utilisation reports, to help the fleet management team to maximise the efficient use of tractors and trailers.
The real-time, web-based service integrates with a Microsoft Dynamics Customer Relationship Management system.
“We anticipate that the new system will enable us to achieve efficiency improvements and our opening target is to make this investment cost neutral. We have immediately implemented some of the Masternaut reporting functions to give us an instant and accurate view of vehicles idling their engines for more than 15 minutes and also to identify trailers that are at standstill,” said Steve Walls, business systems director at Currie.
