DHL Express is to put service points into 400 WHSmith high street stores over the coming weeks. It brings to total number of service points to more than 750 and give DHL access to the one million people that visit the Smiths stores each week.
Customers will have the option of sending items in one of the six available boxes that range in size from an A4 envelope to a box large enough to fit a printer or fax machine.
Ken McCall, chief executive of DHL Express UK and Ireland, said: “We identified a gap in the market and our research showed us that consumers want choice, easy access and well priced express delivery services which is exactly what the Servicepoints offer.
