Kingswinford based logistics training provider Targeted Training Projects is the first training provider in the UK to be awarded the new training benchmark, the Training Quality Standard (TQS) – with Part B Excellence in Freight Logistics and Warehousing.
Skills for Logistics has been working with providers and the Learning and Skills Network to create support material and advocates that training providers who want to be part of the Regional Academies work towards the obtainment of TQS with Part B – Logistics.
The idea of TQS is to enable logistics employers to identify which training providers really are specialists in logistics and can respond to logistics employers needs. Logistics employers often say they don’t know what makes a good provider who can speak their language – The TQS with sector specific Part B is a way of addressing this.
