Croatian supermarket chain Konzum has signed a contract with Paragon Software Systems to enhance distribution to its 700 stores, with a view to cut costs, improve efficiency and environmental performance and enhance customer service.
The new system will replace manual planning at Konzum’s six depots, and optimise the use of its 200-strong fleet delivering ambient, fresh and dairy products, in addition to non-foods.
In the future the supermarket, which is part of the Agrokor group, will link Paragon’s Fleet Controller software to a local tracking supplier, enabling optimised route schedules to be tracked in real time.
