British Airways World Cargo has reported sales of £363 million for the first half, up 25.2 per cent on last year.
Volumes reached 2,437.4 million cargo tonne kilometres, an increase of two per cent, while cargo capacity was down 3.2 per cent.
Sean Doyle, financial controller BA World Cargo, said: “Terminal 5 continues to work well for BA and has contributed to our record-breaking second quarter operational performance.
“Traffic has remained steady out of most areas including the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and South Asia, due in part to the improved product mix which has helped to drive yield.”
