Northern Foods division, Holland’s Pies, has taken delivery of 28 Iveco 3.5 tonne vans with custom designed temperature- controlled bodywork in a deal worth £1.2 million over four years.
Neil Court-Johnston, managing director at Holland, said: “We’ve restructured our business to increase the emphasis on delivering directly to customers and so we needed a fleet of smaller and reliable vehicles which were better suited to high street and city centre deliveries.
“We are also keen to reduce the carbon footprint of our business, so it was essential to have high specification and low emission vehicles and Ryder has worked with us to develop a customised speciation which meets all of our requirements.
