The British Industrial Truck Association will not be increasing its membership fees for the second consecutive year, in light of the current economic situation.
James Clark BITA’s secretary general, said: “The BITA board believes this is a responsible position for a trade organisation such as ours to take in the current trading conditions. It makes sense to be pragmatic in these times. Everyone is finding it tougher than in previous years and we want to be able to help our members where we can.”
The cost of membership has not increased since January 2007, when the board agreed to a 1.5 per cent rise.
BITA membership will remain as follows:
* Truck Suppliers Group – £1,360 + VAT per year and variable additional percentage annual turnover
* Components & Services Group – £1,360 + VAT per year
* Associate/Affiliate Members – £535 + VAT per year
