Freight Forwarder Rhenus Logistics has agreed a 70,000 sq ft pre-let on warehouse space at Gallan Park, Cannock. The 13.4-acre site, off the A5, Watling Street, Cannock, is being developed by Birmingham-based Gallan Group, which is creating a speculative 275,000 sq ft mixed use scheme.
Gary Cater of Rhenus Logistics said: “The move to Gallan Park and its excellent facilities and location will mean our forwarding division, dealing with European and worldwide enquiries on export and import markets, will continue to grow but we will also enter into the contract logistics market offering storage, picking and packing and JIT/value added service to our clientele. The Cannock facility will become a hub for both Midlands and UK activities.
