Warrens Distribution has added 12 S.KO Express dry freight box trailers from Schmitz Cargobull to its 100-strong fleet.
The trailers will be used on routes throughout the UK and mainland Europe to service long-standing contracts that Warrens operates on behalf of two leading supermarket retailers.
The trailers will be used to collect bread and other bakery products from the retailers’ suppliers before delivering to stillages of product to UK-based regional distribution centres.
David Cooper, Warrens’ group transport manager, said: “As the trailers used on the contracts run throughout Europe as well as the UK, it was important for us to have a partner that could provide comprehensive breakdown coverage.
