The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport has taken over PTRC Education and Research Services.
PTRC (Planning and Transport, Research and Computation) provides training courses, seminars, workshops and conferences on a wide variety of transport and related topics. It stages flagship events under its own banner, such as the Transport Practitioners Meeting with the support of the Transport Planning Society and on behalf of a range of clients including The European Transport Conference, on behalf of the Association for European Transport
It will operate as a wholly owned company within the CILT retaining its own identity. CILT chief Steve Agg said: “Both organisations have operated in the same area but developed different strengths. Now as members of the same family we can offer a greater range of higher quality services and devote more resources to the needs of all customers and members whether they be individuals or businesses.”
