Routeing and scheduling solutions providers DPS and TomTom Work will be at Logistics Link South, Sandown Park on 3rd & 4th February to demonstrate how they have combined forces to offer a fully integrated end-to-end route scheduling and job dispatch solution.
The agreement, which was announced in December 2008, allows scheduling and route planning to be optimised using the real-time information provided by TomTom Work. In particular, ETAs from the TomTom Navigation device are fed back to the DPS scheduling platform, allowing the system to react to changing conditions on the road in real-time.
Logistics Link South follows on from Logistics Link North, which took place last October, and promises to be bigger and better than ever with more than 100 companies exhibiting, as well as live demos and free seminars.
The industry event offers the perfect opportunity to stay up-to-date with the latest product innovations, systems and services across materials handling, supply chain software, storage, wireless technology, fleet management, packaging, waste and recycling.
Other exhibitors include market leading companies such as Dematic, RedPrairie, Vialtus, HighJump, Manhattan Associates, Translift Bendi, Narrow Aisle, Crown, Chess, Knapp, SSI Schaefer, Briggs, Paragon, Ceewhy Logistics and Psion Teklogix.
In addition to exhibitors’ stands there will be a number of free to attend seminars taking place across the two days with Dematic, Zetes, Wire 3, Diamond Phoenix, Psion, Rocket, Openda and Descartes, among others, offering advice and tips on a number of topics to help visitors boost efficiency and optimise performance across various disciplines.
