SCA Packaging has taken Barberry Developments’ recently refurbished Stanbridge Building in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire. The building, which totals 112,900 sq ft, was let on a new 15-year lease at an agreed rent of £4.25 per sq ft. Savills advised Barberry while SCA Packaging was represented by Trilogie CRE.
Rob Champion of Savills said: “SCA Packaging is a local company which wanted to remain in Leighton Buzzard and The Stanbridge Building, following its comprehensive refurbishment by Barberry, fulfilled all of its requirements.”
He added: “This significant letting is an excellent result given the current market and reinforces the sentiment that there are still occupiers requiring new space in the market despite universally difficult trading conditions.”
