Still’s first fully-automated version of the FM-X reach truck is available in six different load-bearing capacities ranging from one to 2.5 tonnes.
The driver’s seat allows damping to the individual’s weight. It’s available with a 15 degree tilt, enabling drivers to view past the lift frame without straining their necks. Available as an option, the driver’s compartment module – seat, footplate, pedals – can be hydraulically damped, which Still says will help reduce vibrations and shocks by 57 per cent.
Proportional adjustment of the driver’s seat and footplate is also available as an option with manual and electronically operated versions. These features ensure each driver can find the optimum driving position regardless of height and weight – and remain comfortable over long shift periods.
The free-view mast offers 20 per cent more torsion stiffness for better vibration characteristics and greater stability when lifting heavy loads. The enhanced view onto the load increases safety and the throughput of pallets. The triple breaking system helps improve energy recovery.
