Reed Boardall has completed a £7 million extension at its Boroughbridge cold storage site, which is supported by a Toyota materials handling fleet.
The company offers single site consolidation services for the frozen food industry from the site, which is the largest of its kind in the UK and now contains 112,000 pallet spaces.
Reed Boardall has worked with BT and Toyota products for more than 30 years and now operates an increased fleet of reach and powered pallet trucks, which have been adapted for the cold store environment and can work in temperatures as low as -28°C.
