Fuel specialist Hytek has launched an Alpha Adblue fuel pump, designed to cope with the chemical solution’s aggressive qualities.
Although non-toxic and safe to handle, Adblue can be corrosive for some metals, and is susceptible to contamination, so can’t be dispensed from regular fuel pumps, without causing damage to a vehicle’s engine.
The pump is housed in a robust, stainless steel cabinet and is fully electronic.
*Adblue consumption is five per cent of diesel so for every 100 litres of diesel, five litres of Adblue is used.
