Developer Goodman is pushing forward with plans to resurrect the London International Freight Exchange, albeit in the guise of the Slough Intermodal Freight Exchange, following the successful application of ProLogis’ Howbury scheme a year ago. Goodman acquired Argent’s 215- acre Colnbrook site last year. The new application will total some two million sq ft of rail-connected distribution warehousing. DTZ advised on the sale. The SIFE scheme will be concerned with handling containers arriving into the UK through ports and other regions of Britain.
