Wincanton, has been awarded a £50 million, five year contract by Lafarge Plasterboard to operate its UK national transport network.
The deal expands Wincanton’s share in the construction sector and will see it managing the transport of more than 28,000 loads per year of dry lining and plasterboard from Lafarge’s Bristol and Ferrybridge distribution centres. The products will be transported to customers across the UK including general building materials distributors, wall board speciality dealers, decorators and DIY centres.
