Bottled water brand Highland Spring has chosen Inovis’ BizConnect system to improve communication and data exchange with UK retailers such as Asda, Sainsbury’s and Tesco.
BizConnect is delivered via a web portal and provides the drinks company with a real time view of its customers’ orders, removing the need for a manual data retrieval system which is designed to increase speed and efficiency.
Inovis operates on a flat-rate pricing structure, rather than charging on the amount of data exchanged, so it is easier for Highland Spring to manage its EDI budget as well as adding new customers to the system as and when it needs to.
Stuart Bell, systems manager at Highland Spring, said: “Missing deliveries or inaccurate stock and orders have a serious impact on our reputation and ultimately our revenue. Therefore, having a reliable system in place to effectively manage the receipt and transmission of documents across the business is imperative.”
