Caltex Australia convenience stores has signed a contract with Ceva for the cross docking and national distribution of ambient goods to more than 360 stores across Australia.
The contract will see Ceva deliver a range of goods, including soft drinks, confectionary and grocery items from cross dock facilities in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth within dedicated delivery windows.
Caltex, which operates predominantly under its Star Mart brand, is one of the leading convenience retail networks in Australia.
* Additionally, Mann+Hummel, the manufacturer of filtration and intake systems for the automobile industry, has renewed its aftermarket logistics contract with Ceva Logistics for a further five years.
Ceva has operated at the company’s 17,000 sq m storage facility in Niederaichbach since 2002 where it receives, issues, controls, clears, commissions and packs several hundred thousand oil and air filters.
