Hertfordshire glass and stone importer Camglass Limited has appointed Pantos Logistics UK to provide its inbound ocean services from Brazil, China and Turkey.
Camglass imports various sizes and styles of glass direct from manufacturers which it supplies to the glazing industry, glass merchants and double glazing manufacturers, either in direct container loads or smaller vehicle loads.
The company also imports tiles and sanitary ware, as well as washbasins and toilets.
The Korean-owned logistics and freight forwarding company, which entered the UK logistics market five years ago, expects to move some 500 TEUs this year for Camglass.
Pantos will work with the company to manage order availability by liaising with manufacturers from receipt of purchase order. Milestone progression on availability will then be fed back to Camglass on a regular basis to enable advanced sailing schedules and planning to optimise transit times.
