Zebra Technologies is set to launch the Economy Mobile 220, a small, lightweight portable barcode printer designed for quick, on-demand receipt printing.
It is small enough to be taken to the point of application and can be carried in a pocket or on a belt.
The EM 220 comes with optional Bluetooth wireless connectivity and a magnetic card reader, enabling users to accept credit cards at the point of sale and within customer sight, helping to improve accuracy, workforce efficiency, customer satisfaction and security.
The EM 220 will be available in EMEA from April 2009.
