Chris Sturman has been appointed chief executive of the Food Storage and Distribution Federation.
FSDF President, James Woodward said: “We are delighted to welcome Chris Sturman to the role of FSDF chief executive. His background and personality are ideally suited to driving forward the already high profile of the FSDF and to developing further the wide range of valuable services that are provided to all our members.”

Sturman (above) has long experience of the food supply chain having worked for TDG, NFC, Ross Youngs and Wincanton. In recent years he has been managing director of West Kent Cold Storage and chief executive of Linq Alliance.
The FSDF represents all aspects of the food and drink logistics sector and supply chains and its roots date back to 1911.
