Dürkopp Fördertechnik has completed work on an automated hanging garment sortation and picking system for Next’s national hanging garment distribution centre near Pontefract, West Yorkshire, with the final stage including the handling of hanging garment returns.
The first phase for the delivery of stock to all Next stores came into operation at the end of 2007, while the second phase, operational in Spring 2008, extended the system for the delivery of Next Directory orders.”
