The Kuehne Foundation is funding a new chair at Technische Universität Berlin to extend research in the field of international logistics networks and to strengthen the courses offered in degree and non-degree programmes.
The chair in Berlin is has gone to Prof Carl Marcus Wallenburg. Prior to his appointment by the School of Economics and Management at Technische Universität Berlin he was in charge of the Kuehne Centre for Logistics Management at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management.
The chair focuses on internationalisation of value networks, cooperation networks of logistics companies as well as security in supply chains.
