Jungheinrich has opened seven specialist used forklift truck showrooms throughout the UK.
The showrooms will stock products from the Ready To Go range, which have been rebuilt at the group’s used truck refurbishment centre in Dresden, Germany.
According to the manufacturer, used trucks, depending on their specification, are likely to cost around 60 per cent less on average than an equivalent new vehicle, which could become increasingly appealing to companies considering the current economic situation.
In addition to the models on display at the facilities, Jungheinrich is able to source trucks from across the group.
If a customer requires a model that is not in stock the company says it can source and deliver the required truck within eight weeks.
Neil Warren, used equipment and short term rental director at Jungheinrich UK, said: “Because we operate a large contract hire fleet across Europe we know exactly what trucks are coming back and when. Over the next three years we’ll have over 100,000 trucks coming back from contract hire packages across the group.”
The showrooms are located alongside the Jungheinrich’s existing regional facilities at Warrington, Sheffield, Birmingham, Milton Keynes, Bristol, Llanelli and Cumbernauld.
