Bhs has chosen Kuehne + Nagel to provide furniture deliveries to customers in a bid to expand its homewares business in the UK.
Under the agreement, K+N will provide goods receipt from manufacturers and storage at its shared-user facility at Dove Valley, Derbyshire and a “white glove” delivery and assembly service to customers.
The global logistics provider will also manage call centre activities to handle customer service, including the booking of delivery days and times.
