NYK Logistics North Continent has expanded its goods distribution practices (GDP) licensed area within its Antwerp warehouse by 4,500 sq m, following several new contracts within the healthcare sector.
The GDP area offers state-of-the-art humidity control, as well as temperatures ranging from 2°C to 25°C.
Hans van def Eijk, general manager commercial, said: “Since NYK Logistics North Continent entered the healthcare logistics market, we have seen increasing demand for centralised warehousing of goods being exported or imported the European Union.
“NYK contributes to this trend by offering GDP licensed warehouse space and temperature controlled supply chains from factories located outside the EU to any destination in Europe.”
