Zetes has restructured its management team and appointed James Hannay, former managing director of its UK operation, senior vice president for Northern Europe.
In his new role, Hannay will be responsible for developing Zetes’ business units in the UK, Ireland and Nordic countries, working together with a new executive management team.
Hannay originally joined Zetes as UK MD in 2007 following the acquisition of Peak Technologies in November 2006, where he held the position of sales and operations director.
He said: “As the focus across all areas of industry has turned increasingly to cost cutting and efficiency, we have seen a big increase in demand for Zetes’ solutions, all of which help to create a more agile supply chain.
“And more than anywhere else we are seeing a rise in demand for warehouse solutions based on voice directed working – because of the immediate financial and operational returns. Companies are now looking to Zetes as a strategic partner to help them develop a supply chain IT infrastructure which both addresses shorter term issues and future proofs their operational business to become more sustainable in the long term.”
