Consumer brand company SSL, which owns Durex and Scholl, has extended its contract with Ceva Logistics to manage its European warehousing operations for the for Dr Scholl’s shoes brand.
Ceva has created a European hub for SSL at the Somaglia facility in the Italian region of Lombardy. It uses 4,000 sq m to store products destined for distribution centres across Europe.
Each year Ceva manages more than 75,000 parcels on almost 6,000 pallets on behalf of SSL. The two companies have been working together since 1989.
