JLT, the Swedish manufacturer of rugged portable PCs, has appointed Per Holmberg chief executive officer.
Holmberg will join the organisation on 1st July 2009 from Xilinx, Inc, a leading US-based electronics company, where he currently serves as marketing director.
Jan Olofsson, founder, majority owner and current CEO, assumes the role of senior advisor to head up customer-specific development projects.

Per brings a wealth of experience to JLT and his insight gained from working with a wide range of markets – wired and wireless communications, industrial, defence and consumer electronics – will help drive the company forward.”
