Online bathroom supplier, World of Baths is working with Palletline member company, Anglia Freight, to improve efficiency and reduce road miles.
Anglia Freight completed an in-depth review of the company’s supply chain requirements and now provides a bespoke distribution strategy for direct-to-customer deliveries, using the nationwide Palletline network.
Containers are now delivered from the port of Felixstowe to Anglia Freight’s distribution depot 35 miles away in Eye, Suffolk, where they are destuffed, with goods put into stock using Anglia Freight’s warehouse management systems.
Orders are then picked as required and distributed direct to home addresses throughout the UK through Palletline.
