Audi Volkswagen has signed a three-year service contract with Kuehne + Nagel for its warehouse management and parts distribution in Korea.
As part of the deal K+N is constructing a new warehouse close to the Incheon seaport, which is expected to be fully operational by September 2009.
It will provide 4,500 sq m of dedicated warehouse space for 22,000 stock keeping units, with the possibility for a further 2,000 sq m expansion.
K+N will be handling spare parts for the aftermarket in Korea, including receiving, picking and packing, handling of dangerous goods, shipping and national distribution to Audi Volkswagen dealers throughout the country.
