Marks & Spencer has signed a ten-year contract with Gist, worth an estimated £2 billion.
The deal extends the long-standing relationship which has been in place for more than 35 years.
Gist will continue to manage M&S’s food supply chain in the UK and will take on new business including the food supply chain for the retailer in southern Ireland.
In addition, Gist will be responsible for delivery of all frozen and bread products to stores.
