PSV Transport Systems has taken delivery of two load-lugging Sprinter 311CDIs – one fitted with an Eco-Start fuel-saving system – and a pair of Vito 115CDI Dualiner Sports.
The company, which supplies new and reconditioned components to the bus and coach industry, is now planning to replace its remaining 22 vans.
The unit fitted with Eco-Start is operating in and around London. This system automatically cuts the engine when the vehicle is stationary for more than two seconds and re-starts it when the driver depresses the clutch.
The vehicles are being supplied under a three-year warranty.
