SDI Group has won a number of contracts with retailers across the UK and the rest of Europe, in deals worth some £8 million.
In the UK, the group has been appointed to provide additional capacity to the existing distribution facilities of high end retailer Jack Wills and discount retailer TK Maxx.
SDI has also signed a deal with Dutch retailers Nobbies and Wolverine to design build and support new automated warehousing systems.
Additionally, the group has supplied and installed sorting systems to French sports clothing and equipment retailer, Decathlon, at its sites in Bordeaux, Toulouse and Naples.
Gordon Smith, SDI’s CEO, said: “We are delighted to announce these contract wins which will see SDI continuing to work with big name retailers in the UK and mainland Europe. In spite of difficult trading conditions globally, retailers are still able to recognise the long-term savings that SDI’s systems can offer.”
