Recycling company SCA Recycling has taken the former Dixons Mastercare warehouse at Plot 8, Hounsdown Business Park in Totton, Southampton.
The 125,000 sq ft warehouse has been taken on assignment from landlord AXA Sun Life at a rent of £7 per sq ft.
Commenting on the deal, letting agent Jerry Vigus, of Lambert Smith Hampton, said: “This transaction not only marks the largest industrial letting for some 18 months, but also sees an established company expanding in the region.
The building is regarded as one of the best distribution facilities along the M27 Corridor, with the unit built to a minimum eaves height of ten metres on a site of circa 6.6 acres to provide the occupier with both level and dock level loading access.”
