Basware has signed a number of inter-operability agreements with new e-invoicing service providers in the Netherlands, Iceland, Scandinavia and the Baltic countries, in a move to extend its reach.
The provider of purchase to pay systems has more than 60 partners in the US, Europe and Scandinavia, providing connections to more than 25 countries and transmitting some nine million transactions annually.
The new agreement sees BBS (Sweden), Edisoft Baltic, Emetro (Norway), SupplierDNA (Netherlands) and Span (Iceland) join the company’s existing network.
Basware connects buyers and suppliers in their markets by forming these inter-operability agreements with local e-invoicing service providers. When connecting through the Basware network, companies can extend their business partner network while leveraging their existing e-invoicing system, allowing them to streamline invoicing and payment processes.
Timo Aarvala, vice president of Basware Corp, said: “Flexibility is a key element in successful supply chain management and these new partnerships allow us to significantly strengthen the reach of our e-invoicing network, offering our customers improved efficiency and transparency within their financial supply chains.”
