The UK’s Automated Material Handling Systems Association has appointed a new board of directors.
With immediate effect, Mike Vernon, consultant for Dynamic Systems, will take over as AMHSA president, and Jackie Rutter will step up as AMHSA vice-president, becoming the first female director in the association’s 23-year history.
Vernon is a recognised leader in strategy formulation and has served as AMHSA vice-president for the past three years. He has consulted and facilitated across a large number of material handling equipment projects over the past 20 years.
Rutter is an active member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport and brings with her more than ten years experience across a number of European technical and management roles. She has been on the AMHSA steering committee for the past two years.
