Midlands transport company Twente Express has acquired two new DAF trucks from CV Rental, part of the Allports Group, ahead of further expansion of its European business operations.
The DAF 105.460 tractor units, operating at maximum weight, have been supplied on a five year contract hire agreement and will be used for the company’s Benelux business.
The vehicles have been kitted out by CV Rental to handle Twente Express’ operating requirements, and include 460bhp Euro 5 engines, automatic gearboxes with engine braking and full air management.
Fuel consumption performance will also meet the latest Euro 5 environmental regulations.
Maintenance will be carried out as part of the contract at Allports Group’s 24 hour maintenance facility at Fradley Park.
