Kwoks Foods, the UK manufacturer of Oriental ready meals, has extended its contract with ACS& T Logistics for a further two years.
Under the new contract, ACS&T will be providing Kwoks with additional services including storage for both ambient and frozen ingredients and packaging materials, together with daily, just in time deliveries from its Grimsby factory.
The operation will be supported by ACS&T’s web-based IT system, which offers access to live information regarding stork levels and deliveries.
The team works to same day delivery for more than 80 separate ambient stock lines and 100 frozen lines with a four hour turnaround as standard.

Working with ACS&T’s Production Support division gives us instant access, 24/7, to critical information regarding stock levels and deliveries. This enables us to keep our operation running smoothly and respond quickly to meet our customers’ changing needs.”
The two businesses have worked together since 2005. Initially ACS&T provided storage services for frozen ingredients, but this was extended in 2008 to incorporate production support services for the ambient division.
